Abram has extensive experience as a family lawyer, mediator, and arbitrator, having practiced family law exclusively since 2016. He was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 2008. Before family law, Abram practiced commercial litigation at national and large regional law firms. This background makes Abram particularly well suited to assist families with complex corporate, tax, and commercial realities.
Abram’s truest strengths lie in his interpersonal nature, relationship building, and his ability to help parties reach mutually beneficial outcomes. Whether acting for clients, as a mediator, or as a mediator/arbitrator, he ensures that the perspectives of all stakeholders are well understood and appreciated, allowing for the crafting of solutions that benefit all parties. He prides himself on providing practical and resolution focused outcomes that prioritize ultimate decision-making being left in the hands of the family.
Outside of his practice, Abram keeps active in all things outdoors, greatly enjoys traveling, and loves to tinker in the kitchen. Abram is the proud father of two wonderful boys.
Brianne is a dedicated family lawyer with a strong work ethic. Admitted to the Alberta Bar in 2020, she has represented clients in both the Alberta Court of Justice and the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta, handling matters such as parenting, child and spousal support, and property division, including high conflict matters. She is also experienced in alternative dispute resolution methods, including mediation, arbitration, and negotiation, aiming to minimize court intervention and empower clients to control the outcomes of their cases.
Before pursuing law, Brianne earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting with Great Distinction from the University of Saskatchewan. Her background in business and accounting enhances her ability to navigate complex financial aspects of family law, such as property division and support calculations.
Brianne has built a reputation for her compassionate, client-focused approach to family law matters. She conducts her practice with empathy, taking time to listen and understand what matters most to her clients. She provides effective legal counsel and demonstrates strong advocacy skills, which leads to positive outcomes for her clients.
When she is not helping her clients, Brianne enjoys spending time with friends and family, travelling, reading and enjoying the outdoors.
Nadine moved to Calgary in 2005 and graduated from the Legal Assistant program at SAIT in 2010, with honours. Before joining ABA Family Lawyers, she spent six years working in civil and employment litigation at a large Calgary law firm. In 2016, Nadine made the transition to family law, which has since become her true passion. With a strong foundation in litigation, she brings over 15 years of experience to her work.
Nadine loves helping clients navigate challenging times and guiding them toward better futures. Her caring, warm nature ensures that every client feels supported and heard during their journey.
Outside of work, Nadine enjoys hiking and walking with her husband, their son, and their two dogs—Nimrod (a Shelti/Mudi) and Worf (a Miniature Schnauzer). When she’s not outdoors, she’s an enthusiastic baker, a passionate writer, and currently working towards her bachelor’s degree in criminology at Athabasca University.
